Ages 4 to 18

Programs for boys and girls of all abilities, from first-timers to competitive players.

Season Starts April

Training starts early in the year, and games run through Terms 2 & 3—the cooler months of the year.

Fun First

Development, teamwork, and enjoyment for every player—no matter their skill level.

Family discount: 5% off registration when you have multiple children playing. Does not apply to first child that you register. Discount is applied automatically by PlayHQ for second and subsequent children.

Age groups: Ages are based on the age your child is turning during the year. For example, if your child is turning 12 in 2026, they would play in the Under 12s. There is some flexibility for younger kids to play in higher age groups if they are ready for it. For example, a kid turning 8 in 2026 would usually play in Superkick, but could play mixed Under 9s.

Auskick

Ages 4-6 $120

The perfect introduction to AFL for our youngest players. Auskick focuses on fun, basic skills, and making friends in a safe, supportive environment. Sessions run on weekend mornings and include games, activities, and plenty of high-fives.

AFL Superkick

Ages 6-8 $120

The next step after Auskick. Superkick introduces players to more structured games while still focusing on fun, participation, and building core AFL skills in a supportive team environment.

Mixed Juniors

Ages 8-17 $195

Teams playing in the AFL Canberra junior competition across Under 9s to Under 17s. All age groups play in a scored competition with a ladder. Younger age groups (Under 9s to Under 11s) play modified rules including zones and limited tackling, with no finals series. From Under 12s onwards, rules progressively move towards full rules football and teams compete for premierships.

Girls Football

All ages

We're proud to offer dedicated pathways for girls across all age groups. Whether joining Auskick or competing in the junior leagues, girls are welcome at every level of our club. Modified rules are in place until Under 12s, including no tackling.
