Belconnen Magpies U16 Girls Crown Unbeaten Season with Grand Final Glory!
The Belconnen Magpies U16 Girls have wrapped up a phenomenal season in style, securing a commanding 50–26 victory over the Weston Creek Wildcats in the grand final!
After an unbeaten run through the regular season, the Magpies proved once again why they’re the team to beat—delivering a performance full of grit, heart, and unity. Every player stepped up when it mattered most, showcasing the kind of team-first footy that defines champions
Round 13 will be the Magpies Juniors inaugural Mental Health Round. The day will be full of entertainment both on and off the field, including your chance to win great prices with our raffles and silent auction. All profits from the day will go to Headspace

2025 Good for Footy Raffle
It’s time again for the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle. This is a great way to help the club with all proceeds from the raffle going back into the club. This helps us keep registrations low and allows us to update team kits and club equipment.
Grab yourself a ticket for the chance to win one of three new cars along with other great prizes, with a prize pool of over $280,000.
Training times and location have now been set for the 2025 season. Once the draw has been released we can update everyone on game times.
If you are training and have not registered please do so as we need to finalise our numbers for the season.
If you have a friend who wants to try AFL bring them along. We are still looking for players for our U10 and U12 Girls teams as well as Mixed U10, U11 and U12s.
We are still on the search for an Auskick Pro Coach
Congratulations to Magpies own Cooper Bell who was selected by the Gold Coast Suns in the 2024 AFL Draft. The Belconnen Magpies Juniors wish Cooper the best for his AFL career.
Policies
In order to provide the best possible environment for our players and their families, the Magpies Junior Football Club have developed a set of policies, as well as abiding by AFL Canberra policies, to assist with the governance of the club.
