Welcome to the Magpies
The Belconnen Magpies Junior Football Club is a mixed AFL club for boys and girls based in Belconnen, ACT. For over 40 years, we've been helping young players discover their love of Australian Football in a fun, inclusive environment.
Our club caters for children from Auskick through to Under 17s, with teams competing in the AFL Canberra junior competition each winter. We focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship — because we believe junior sport should be about more than just the scoreboard.
Whether your child is picking up a footy for the first time or has been playing for years, the Magpies family welcomes you. Our experienced coaches and dedicated volunteers work hard to make sure every player has the chance to learn, improve, and most importantly, have fun.
